Most people who know me are aware of my preoccupation with cashew Baklava. It isn’t a casual thing – it’s an ongoing, omnipresent, bordering on unhealthy obsession.
Ibrahim Pastry in Rockdale are my Baklava vendors of choice. The women behind the counter are always helpful and friendly – I never feel foolish for being unable to pronounce the names of their delicious treats, and they’re always accommodating when I have a complicated or picky order.
The food they have available is so wonderfully varied – different kinds of baklava and other Lebanese pastries, biscuits, baked goods and delicious turkish delight.
